Founded in 2008 by a chiropractor in Kansas City, A&M Billing Services was originally established to meet the specific billing needs of healthcare providers. Alisha and Malissa, both experienced professionals in the billing industry, joined the company as staff members early on. Over time, they gained invaluable expertise in all aspects of the billing process, from insurance verification to claims submission and payment collection.
In 2016, after the original owners retired, Alisha and Malissa took the next step in their professional journey and purchased the company. Since then, they have continued the mission of providing outstanding billing services, expanding the company's reach to serve clients nationwide. Under their leadership, A&M Billing Services has built a reputation for reliability, accuracy, and personalized care.

Alisha Gibson is the owner of A&M Billing Services and brings over a decade of experience to the company. Born and raised in Salina, Kansas, Alisha’s passion for the healthcare industry led her to pursue a degree in medical billing and coding, which she completed in May 2011. Since then, she has worked diligently in the billing sector, honing her skills and expertise.
After gaining valuable industry experience, Alisha became part of the original team at A&M Billing Services, where she developed a deep understanding of the complexities of medical billing. In 2016, Alisha, alongside her business partner Malissa, took ownership of the company, continuing to build on the strong foundation laid by the original founders.
Alisha’s dedication to providing high-quality billing services is matched only by her commitment to her clients. She is passionate about ensuring that healthcare providers can focus on their patients while A&M handles the complexities of the billing process.
Fun Fact: When Alisha isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks.
